Jonah Beker has been an integral part of Field of Dreams Baseball Camp for nearly 12 years, making him one of the longest-tenured members of our team. Jonah’s journey with FOD began as a camper in the camp’s first year, and he has been with us ever since, transitioning from camper to instructor and counselor.

Though his playing background includes a few years of rep baseball with the Thornhill Reds, he has been coaching rep baseball for the past 10 years. Jonah’s true strength lies in his dedication to working with kids. As a coach, counsellor and instructor, he brings an infectious energy, positivity, and enthusiasm to every session. He’s known as a hype guy who fosters excitement and encourages all of the campers to perform their best.

Jonah is deeply respected by campers for the way he treats them—with kindness, respect, and care. He makes every player feel valued and helps them build their confidence both on and off the field. His inclusive approach ensures that every child feels welcome, and his ability to relate to players of all skill levels makes him a key asset in our programs.

As a member of the Field of Dreams team, Jonah is known for his versatility and hard work. He’s willing to do anything that’s needed to support his fellow instructors and ensure the success of our camp programs. Whether it’s stepping in to assist with drills or working behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly, Jonah’s contributions allow everyone to thrive.
