George Kottaras
Former MLB Player
George Kottaras is a Major League Baseball veteran who has spent his career at the highest level of the game, and he’s bringing that experience back home to the GTA.
A true local success story, George grew up in the Greater Toronto Area and attended Milliken Mills High School in Markham before being drafted by the San Diego Padres. He went on to play seven seasons in Major League Baseball, suiting up behind the plate for the Boston Red Sox, Milwaukee Brewers, Oakland Athletics, Kansas City Royals, Cleveland Indians, St. Louis Cardinals, and his hometown Toronto Blue Jays.

TRAIN WITH A FORMER MAJOR LEAGUER
There is something different about learning the game from someone who has played it at the highest level. George Kottaras brings years of professional baseball experience, including seven seasons in Major League Baseball, directly to FOD players.
More importantly, George knows how to teach. He works hands-on with our players, breaking down the game in a way young athletes can understand and apply. From hitting and catching to pitching, defense and overall baseball IQ, players have the opportunity to learn the details, preparation and approach that helped George reach the Major Leagues.

Catcher Clinic
Arguably the toughest position on the field, catching is also one of the positions that often doesn’t receive enough dedicated instruction during regular team practices. Our Pro Catching Clinic bridges that gap by focusing exclusively on developing complete, confident catchers.
PRO HITTING CLINICS
Field of Dreams Pro Hitting Training is designed to help players of all ages and skill levels become more confident, consistent, and complete hitters. Whether your child is just beginning their baseball journey or has been playing competitive baseball for years, our program provides professional instruction that is tailored to each athlete’s individual stage of development.
PRO PITCHING CLINIC
For more than 10 years, Field of Dreams has been developing pitchers and continually evolving our pitching program.
Over the years, we’ve worked with NCAA pitchers, professional players and elite coaches, learning what works, adapting our approach and making the program better every season.
Fundamentals Clinic
Our Fundamentals Clinic is designed for young baseball players ages 5–9 to learn the game, build their skills and develop confidence in a fun and positive environment.
The program focuses on all of baseball’s core fundamentals, including fielding, catching, throwing and hitting, while emphasizing skill development, confidence and, most importantly, a love for the game.
ADVANCED FUNDAMENTALS CLINICS
Our ADVANCED fundamentals clinic is designed for baseball players age 10-14 who are looking to take their game ot the next level. This program builds on our regular fundamentals program, and is designed for older kids and more advanced players (hence, the advanced fundamentals).
