Jaz’s coaching career is equally impressive, beginning in 2013 with community work in Australia. From 2016-2018, he dedicated himself to Play Sport 4 Life, a South African charity, where he spent nearly every day teaching baseball to children from underserved areas. In 2018, he launched Every Child Deserves a Chance (ECDC), his own non-profit focused on creating baseball opportunities for children in Uganda. That same year, he managed Vaughan Sports Centre, where he coached hundreds of youth from Vaughan and the GTA. Today, Jaz is the owner and head instructor of The Bullpen indoor baseball academy in Aurora, continuing to share his passion and expertise with young players.
Jaz’s dedication, both as an accomplished player and inspiring coach, makes him a tremendous asset to Field of Dreams.
