We have teamed up with the Scarborough Stingers and West Hill Baseball to bring our amazing summer baseball day camp to Scarborough and surrounding communities for a third summer! At FOD we create a special, inclusive culture for all of our campers that promotes the love of the game and improves both baseball and life skills! Our baseball camps are the perfect mix of skill development and fun. This will be our 14th summer running summer camps in the Greater Toronto Area! Please feel free to read more about our day camps, and watch our camp video on our home page!
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING SPECIAL DATES AND EVENTS FOR THE 2023 SUMMER:
Week 2 (July 8-12)– We are so excited to bring back our giant inter-camp wiffle ball tournament hosted at the Vaughan Camp for the summer of 2023! Campers from the Scarborough camp will be bussed to Vaughan on Wednesday, July 10. Each camp will have teams that enter the tournament and compete against the Vaughan and Scarborough Camp teams for the ultimate wiffle ball championship. There will be a special guest or DJ playing music all day, trophies for the tournament champions, and a great giveaway for all participants at the end of the day! We are expecting over 150 kids to participate in this exciting event!
Week 7 (August 12-16) Field of Dreams will be running our seventh annual Camp-Wide Wiffle Ball Tournament. The special event will take place on Thursday, August 15. The Scarborough camp location will break their campers up new wiffle ball teams for the day that will enter the day-long Field of Dreams tournament. There will be trophies awarded to the winning team and every camper will get a special giveaway! Don’t miss out, register soon as we expect it to fill quickly!
Please note that ‘Week 6’ is a shorter week due to the Civic holiday and long weekend. Camp will only be running for 4 days (Tues-Fri) and the registration system will automatically prorate the price
Scarborough Inclement Weather Procedure:
On days of extreme heat or heavy rain we will move inside the clubhouse at the field for shelter and play some quiet games and activities until it is safe to go back out to play
