Morello signed to play Division I Baseball at Northern Kentucky University where he spent two seasons before transferring to the University of Charleston in West Virginia leading his team to back to back record breaking seasons. He is now working towards signing a professional baseball contract. Here are some of Gianfranco’s awards and accolades from his college career:

• Honorable Mention All American – National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association
• First Team All Region-NCBWA, CCA, ABCA
• First Team All Conference 2018, 2019
• Playoff Tournament MVP 2019
• Academic All American 2018, 2019 (one of the most elite players on the field and in the classroom in the entire nation)
• Career Leader at University of Charleston in stolen bases, and doubles
• Season leader at University of Charleston in doubles, stolen bases and runs
• One of only 2 players in school history to have over 200 college hits
• Top five in school history in hits, runs, RBI, and triples

Gianfranco is a top level hitting and fielding instructor who has helped a lot of competitive players at Field of Dreams get to the next level of their game. His knowledge of hitting and fundamentals, and passion for working with kids who want to get better will make him an amazing head instructor at our elite camp again this summer!
