A TWO DAY HIGH PERFORMANCE CAMP INSTRUCTED BY FORMER AND CURRENT U.S. NCAA COLLEGE PLAYERS WHO ARE BACK IN TORONTO FOR THE HOLIDAYS!
THE TWO DAY INSTRUCTIONAL CAMP
FOD Baseball has organized a two day high performance instructional camp that will feature instruction from some of Toronto’s most talented players currently playing NCAA baseball, and who have just graduated! This one of a kind clinic will focus on a series of stations that all players will rotate through, each one will be run by one of our College players. We will end the clinic with a little ‘meet and greet’ and question and answer period with all of our talent, where our participants will be able to ask questions and get some information on college baseball and getting to the next level!
Please note that you can choose to participate in both dates, or just one of the dates we will be running the clinic:
WHEN: Monday, December 23, 2019, and, Monday December 30, 2019
TIME:9:00am to 3:00pm
WHERE: Vaughan Sportsplex (8301 Keele Street – Keele and Bowes Road)
PRICE: $100 plus HST per day, or $150 plus HST for both
AGES: 6-15 (players will be divided into groups based on their age and skill level)
NCAA INSTRUCTORS: Gianfranco Morello, Ben Teplin, Pat Orr, Peter Joseph, and Chris Fafalios

About the Instructors:
Gianfranco Morello –
- Honorable Mention All American-National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association
- First Team All Region-NCBWA, CCA, ABCA
- First Team All Conference 2018, 2019
- Playoff Tournament MVP 2019
- Academic All American 2018, 2019
- Career Leader at University of Charleston in stolen bases, and doubles
- Season leader at University of Charleston in doubles, stolen bases and runs
- One of only 2 players in school history to have over 200 college hits
- Top five in school history in hits, runs, RBI, and triples
Peter Joseph –
- Currently pitches for Northwood University
- Pitched as a very effective reliever in the New York Collegiate Baseball Summer League for the Syracuse Salt Cats in 2018 and 2019
- 2019 All-Conference Honorable Mention
- Former Toronto Met Elite player
Ben Teplin –
- Currently plays at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania for the Crimson Hawks
- Prior to playing college ball, he played Elite baseball for the Toronto Mets for 4 years
- In summer league with the Thornhill Reds Senior AAA team, he was named first team all-star in his Rookie season as an under age player in 2018
Chris Fafalios-
- A former Fighting Scot outfielder at the College of Wooster in Ohio
- Currently is the Sport Performance Manager, Vision Trainer and Personal Trainer at Honsberger Physio+
- He brings a unique skillset far beyond the fundamentals, training athletes to improve their hand eye coordination, reaction time, focus, attention span, and dynamic acuity
- Hitting, Mechanics, and Outfield coach of the Minor Bantam AAA AKBA team
- Umpire-in-Chief for Aurora-King Baseball
Pat Orr-
- Played for the Gators at Allegheny College in Pennsylvania where he was a four-year letter winner.
- He is a hard throwing closer, and also a catcher.
- In the summers he plays for the Thornhill Reds AAA team in the GTBL where he helped lead the team to a championship in 2018 and was named the GTBL Rookie of the Year
- Currently the sits on the board as the President of the Scarborough Stingers Baseball Club
