If you’re miserable just even thinking about the oncoming summer season, then you really don’t want to even think about our baseball camp!
Here are 5 reasons not to register for camp this year:
You hate fun. Absolutely despise it. While all the other kids are playing games and laughing and running around, you would rather be off in a corner sulking or stomping your feet. That’s your idea of a good time around the clock. The last thing that you want to do is get involved in any sort of game where you may be at risk of having a good time.
You’re sick of the sunshine. Spring is in the air and it’s already making you nauseous. You wish the birds would just stop singing and the flowers would go back underground! January, February, those are your times to shine! June, July, August…you’d rather be anywhere but outside underneath the sun and clouds.
You’re out of energy. You know those kids who are busy running all over the place and can never seem to sit still? That’s not you! Your friends at school already call you an old person because you’d much rather be sitting or lying down throughout the day. Even better? A nice nap! Seriously though, the last thing that you want to do is get up and move.
You already have too many friends. You already have one or two friends, and you don’t even like spending time with them! Friends are fine when you’re playing a board game that requires at least 2 people, but you would usually like to stay by yourself as much as possible. Playing games and having fun with other kids sounds like your nightmare!
You’d rather be in summer school. Why play sports when you can just read a book about the history of how they became popular? You love school…okay, you really love school. You know that it’s healthy to love to read, but you’d rather read every hour of every day. No TV or computer games or video games for you! If there’s a chance to spend more time in school, you’ll take it.
…does this sound like a kid you know? No? Us neither! That’s the primary reason why we built Field of Dreams Baseball Camp. A love of learning is incredibly healthy, and children do need time to rest and relax, and to learn independence. Yet in those precious childhood years, most of them would love nothing more than to run around outside having fun with their friends, and playing baseball!
If your child is the complete opposite of this, and loves making new friends and having fun in the sunshine, get them signed up for baseball camp today! Visit www.fodbaseballcamp.com to register for one of our camp locations: Vaughan, Aurora, Scarborough, Caledon and Pro Camp. We’re excited to see you when camp begins on July 2nd!
